hi there ♡ again. we drove to tochigi prefecture.to nasu and mashiko areas.the persimmon photos were taken outside and inside the onsen we stayed. they are in season now and the trees are so beautiful.the orange is so lovely against the browns and greys of the landscape. the onsen is called kita onsen.my daughter is bathing in the outside bath in the photo below.this was a mixed bath where you could wear a swimsuit if you liked.the onsen was so hidden away up a mountain.apparently they have bears in spring come looking for new bamboo :-0
